Life has been a bit busy for the Canberra Murcutt's of late, finally finishing stage one of renovations - and very happy we are too. Esther was very impressed with the finished product, saying "Wow good work Daddy" when she finally saw the new big room and floors. Other favourite phrases at the moment are "Whats that noisy", "Why not" and "Esther very funny". She also loves to hide in caves (doonas and blankets) with her glow sticks, catch bubbles in her hands, and go on fairy hunts - we find all sorts of fairy paraphernalia, hats and skateboards and skipping ropes. Imagination is taking off too, we can find monkey's in the trees and feed them bananas or go fishing in Mummy's boat (between legs in bed). Trips to the mall are lots of fun as she points out all the christmas trees, but if we get too close to Santa it all turns to tears! Esther also had her first hair cut, by Mummy, and while other persons in the house may have called it a boy cut, she looks very sweet and cute with less wild hair!
